The Genesis Entrepreneurship Centre, located at the Main Campus SC128 (right by Tim Horton’s) is the gateway to entrepreneurship and professional development at St. Clair College. It is a hub that connects students, alumni, faculty and the community. The Genesis Centre provides all guests with resources, programs, and support to provide them with tools to help each one succeed in whatever path they choose – whether you work for yourself, or for someone else. If you have a business idea or solution, this is the place to start!

In an effort to keep everyone safe throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the Genesis Entrepreneurship Centre will be hosting all programming in an entirely virtual format. All posted Workshops and events will be delivered through Microsoft Teams.

If you are unable to attend an event due to a personal or school scheduling conflict, please email genesis@stclaircollege.ca and we will make arrangements to accommodate you. If you are interested in a one-on-one mentorship consultation, those can be set up any time via the above email address.

Anyone between the ages of 17-24 in Windsor Essex County / Chatham-Kent that has an idea for a business you’d like to open or already have a business operation, the ball is in your court! All successful applicants will receive a $100 gift card to a business such as Staples, Basics, or a printing shop.

  • 1ST PRIZE – up to $20,000
  • 2ND PRIZE – up to $10,000
  • 3RD PRIZE – up to $5,000
  • 4TH PRIZE – up to $2,500
  • 5TH PRIZE – up to $1,500

Ten finalists will be selected and required to participate in 3 workshops and one final pitch:

  • WORKSHOP 1 – Saturday June 26th, 9AM to 12PM
  • WORKSHOP 2 – Saturday July 17th, 9AM to 12PM
  • WORKSHOP 3 – Saturday July 24th, 9AM to 12PM
